Precautions
These are the precautions before and after the eyebrow procedure. Please refer to them!
Pre-treatment precautions
For a smooth procedure and beautiful results, please be sure to check the points below.
1) 24 hours before the procedure
- No alcohol
- Avoid excessive intake of caffeine (coffee/energy drinks)
- Be cautious when taking painkillers/aspirin/blood-thinning medications
(Bleeding may not stop easily, which can affect pigment retention.)
2) One week before the procedure
- Eyebrow waxing/threading/hair removal should be done at least 3 days to 1 week in advance
- Discontinue exfoliation, peeling, and retinol (AHA/BHA/tretinoin) products
(including the eyebrow area)
- Dermatological treatments (laser/peeling/skin boosters, etc.) are recommended with at least a 2-week interval
3) On the day of the procedure
- If you are pregnant/breastfeeding or have allergies, skin conditions, or are taking any medications, please inform us in advance before booking.
- Redness or slight swelling may occur after the procedure, so we recommend scheduling important events (photoshoots/travel/events) with at least 1–2 weeks of buffer time.
4) Cases where the procedure may be difficult (advance notice)
If any of the following apply, the procedure may be restricted or a schedule change may be required.
- Keloid-prone skin
- Severe skin inflammation/atopic dermatitis/open wounds
- Recent Botox in the eyebrow area (usually a minimum 2-week interval is recommended)
- Immediately after a recent laser treatment
Aftercare precautions
For beautiful pigment retention and long-lasting results, please be sure to follow the guidelines below.
1) Normal reactions after the procedure
- It is normal for the color to appear darker immediately after the procedure.
- Redness/swelling may occur for 1–2 days.
- Between days 3–7, scabbing may form and the color may look lighter; after healing, the color will return naturally.
⚠️ Do not pick or peel the scabs under any circumstances!
2) Precautions for the first 7 days after the procedure (Important)
- Avoid contact with water (do not expose to hot water or direct shower spray)
- Do not rub or scrub the eyebrows
- No eyebrow makeup or cleansing oil
- Avoid saunas/steam rooms/swimming pools/intense exercise (no heavy sweating)
- No alcohol (delays healing & affects pigment retention)
3) Strictly prohibited (recommended for 2 weeks)
- Do not use exfoliating, scrub, or peeling products
- Laser/dermatological treatments are recommended only after at least 2 weeks
- Avoid sun exposure/tanning (UV rays can cause discoloration and fading)
4) Final results & touch-up information
- The eyebrow color fully stabilizes about 4 weeks after the procedure.
- For optimal results, one touch-up is recommended after 6–8 weeks 😊
